On Tuesday, a major earthquake registering a magnitude 7.1 struck Central Mexico. The earthquake resulted in numerous fatalities and heavy structural damage throughout the capital.
The Mexico City International Airport was shut down temporarily on Tuesday, but reopened after several hours. MIQ is being informed of freight delays and would like to communicate the expectation of delays to our customers now.
While MIQ Global Mexico awaits a physical inspection of the office, and restoration of our telecommunications, we would like to keep you informed of our business continuity plan.
UPDATE: Status of MIQ Mexico and Business Continuity Plan:
MIQ Mexico City – Resumed Operations on 9/26/17. The MIQ Global Mexico experienced temporary telecommunication disruptions, however our onsite team resumed operations as of September 26th.
